Adsense is Dead…The Internet is Dying…

Gloom and Doom — We're all going broke!

That's how it would seem on the surface, but in fact, Internet Marketing as we know it is dying.

Mike Filsaime has just hit the nail on the head. His latest report, The Death of Internet Marketing has really struck a cord with marketers and potential marketers everywhere.

Overhyped product launches are the latest craze to hit the streets, and quite frankly, the potential marketers are getting fed up. Too much too fast and the really good products get lost in the noise.

If you are an Internet marketer, you need to read this report.

I will admit, I thought it was some hyped up offer to get me to join for free and get some offer…

…Turns out I was wrong. Way wrong.

No sales offers, no OTO, just good information.

The bottom line is, this report really opened my eyes to what really is the death of Internet marketing. The good news is, the report also shows you what you need to know to succeed in the near future.

The times are changing and I it would be a shame for anyone to not read this report and fail like many will.

I read it, and I wanted to share it with you ASAP

I recommend you take a break from what ever it is you are doing if you can and get access to this report now.

Consider your future success by going here now…

The Death of Internet Marketing

So, what's the downside? In this case it is really minimal. This is a free report, there are no high sales tactics, there is no OTO, just the report. There is, however, Mike's list. At least he is honest enough, up front, to tell you he is using this to build his list. He is giving a dollar for every report you give away, so it will cost him one to two dollars per name to build his list. (He is offering this incentive two levels deep.) In reality it may cost him three to five dollars for each active lead, maybe more, by the time all the unsubscribe requests come in. But hey, that is a reasonably cheap price to pay for a responsive list.

Good marketing strategy on mike's part. Just be aware, you are getting on another mailing list.

Thanks for reading.

A New Year Calls For New Direction

As you have seen, I believe in calling it like it is. I'm not afraid to call a spade a spade and let the cards fall where they may. If I think something is good, I'll tell you. If I think it is bad, I'll tell you that also.

I think it is time to look at this whole Internet marketing scene and decide where the value is and where the crap is.

Fact of the matter is, if you didn't make money in 2006, you will not make money in 2007 if you continue doing the same things you did in 2006.

I'm looking at some different directions in my business, and I will be sharing those directions with you.

Over the next few days/weeks I will be looking at some current programs that I think have real value for the new marketer. But let me warn you. If you are a freebie seeker, you won't want to read what I have to say.

If you are a serious marketer, I think I can help you.

I will be reviewing some controversial reports that have just come out, as well as some established systems and programs that have not gotten a lot of press lately.

So, stay tuned, and may 2007 be your best year yet.

Thanks for reading.

I'm Telling It Like It Is

Welcome to my blog.

I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of all the unmitigated BS (and yes that means exactly what you think it does!) that is passed off as information on the Internet today. Particularly in the area of Internet marketing.

The market is huge. Millions are looking for a way to make money on the Internet, and thousands are offering the holy grail of marketing - make money without doing anything.

Most of the crap out there is reworked information that didn't work before and won't work now. The so called "gurus" are for the most part no more than old time charlitans tryng to separate the sucker from his money.

If that sounds harsh, look at what is happening. A guru will pre-advertise a product, creating an anticipated product launch that will in the end make him hundreds of thousands of dollars. Of the thousands of people who buy his "latest and greatest", how many will ever make money with it? Just a handful of his best buddies (JV Partners) who get the word first, promote the product for him, and in return get a commission on the sale.

Now, I'm not knocking the product launch, nor the affiliate program. Both are excellent marketing strategies. What I am knocking is the use of these strategies to fleece the unsuspecting newbie who thinks he will be able to buy this latest product and make his own internet fortune.

Well, it just isn't going to happen. It has been estimated that 98% of all Internet marketers will fail. Why? Because they are trying to reverse the natural course of events. You can't get on the Internet and become a millionaire overnight. It may happen, but what are the chances? Try winning the lottery, you'll have better odds.

What I will do with this blog is evaluate what I see on the Internet. Some of it is good. Some of it is very good. Some of it is pure crap.

I intend to tell it like it is.

If it is good, I will tell you why it is good, how to use it, and what to honestly expect from it. My first report is a prime example. I talk about Mike Filsaime's Free Advertising Blog. While Mike is not necessarily one of my favorite people, he is an astute marketer who has had some original ideas that can help any Internet marketer if they are used properly.

If it's bad, I will tell that too. I have a couple of programs/emails that I am looking at right now that are not what they are cracked up to be.

Good or bad, I intend to call it like I see it.

So, who am I? I'm and Internet marketer who has been doing this since 2002. I have seen many scams come and go, and I have seen some programs stay around and work. Mostly I have seen my bank account drop by over $10,000 chasing the elusive dream, right along with everyone else. I want to try to help you to avoid that same fate.

I will allow you to comment and many of you may not agree with me. Especially if you are trying to peddle the programs I am knocking. I will allow your comments if you can prove to me the program is working. I'm not interested in the hype of what the program can produce, I want to see the results of what it has done for you.

If all you can say is that your program is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and only the losers are not making it work, well, I'm not interested in hearing from you. If, on the other hand you have a valid complaint about what I am saying, and you can back up your objection with logic and proof that the program really does work. But before you try to convince me, read the second blog after this one. It talks about a program that works, according to some promoters, but I don't think it is really worth the money and I feel that it is deceiving the novice marketer.

I don't care how well a program works, if it is deceptive, it is stealing money from honest customers who only want to better their lives, and I'm not going to say good things about it.

So, welcome to my blog. I may rant and rave, but I will be as honest as I possibly can in my evaluations. If you like what I say, tell your friends. If you don't like what I say, tell me. Your friends will be able to read your comments, but at least they will also be able to read what I said and then make their own decisions.

Thanks for reading.

XSitePro - Worth the money?

Four types of website builders

The Programmer. The programmer eschews any type of HTML editor, especially a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. FrontPage is actually anathema. Their editor of choice is NotePad or some variation. They manually key in all the HTML code in order to have absolute control

The Novice. At the opposite end of the spectrum is the absolute novice. He knows nothing about HTML and will use Word, or perhaps one of the free WYSIWYG editors to create his sites. He generally has lots of colors, lots of fonts, tables, and other flashy devices to make his site look "professional." It doesn't. By the way, Word is the worst way to create a website.

The Marketer. The marketer is concerned about marketing and does not want to spend all his time on building websites. He will generally take one of two approaches. He will outsource his sites to a web developer, or he will hire a developer to do the sites for him. His sites are generally making money.

The Geek. When I was young we were nerds, but terms change. The geek generally has the latest and greatest. Front Page, Dreamweaver, or some other fancy WYSIWYG editor that lets you do your own custom coding while you are visually developing the site. He likes to play with HTML, CSS, php, and other coding that makes the sight sing. He has some quality sites, but doesn't sell much.

What If?

Of all the website builders, the marketer is probably the guy making the most money. But, what if he could build his own sites quickly and easily, saving the cost of hiring or outsourcing the development, and still concentrate on the business of marketing?

Well now that is possible.

Enter XSitePro

I've literally tried them all. NotePad, Word, FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Nvu, and many others. Some are good, some are great, some are only for the die hard coder that loves self flagellation.

But now there is something new.

XSitePro will create pages in record time that obey all the rules of good coding. You also have the option to hand customize the code. Plus it will automatically do SEO optimization and perform other steps that will make your site very friendly to the search engines and other powers that determine whether you site gets indexed or not. It's really quite an incredible piece of software.

Here are 7 reasons you should consider XSitePro.

7 Reasons

It's not all peaches and cream

XSitePro requires .net 1.1 from Microsoft. The latest version is .net 3.0, but the program will not run under 3.0, you have to install 1.1. The registration verification is a little dicey, and it took me about 12 hours after I installed and registered before I could actually use the program.

It comes with an outstanding tutorial, but the tutorial has not kept up with the program development and some of the screens don't quite match up. For someone like me that is not a problem because I can read between the lines. But, for a novice, it could prove a little disconcerting and even confusing on occasion.

So far, I'm impressed!

This is one of those programs I wish I had gotten a couple of years ago. It would have saved me a lot of time and headaches. So far, I like it. That may change over time as I get more familiar with it's capabilities and shortcomings, but until then I give it my full-hearted endorsement.

XSitePro. Give it a try. It comes with a full 365 day money back guarantee.

Don't Waste Your Money on Stuart's Latest Gimmick

12/18/06 - This BUM stole my web site!!!

This is the subject of Stuart Halpryn's latest email.

His story is that he caught a well known Internet marketer stealing his web site and making money off of his products. The email and the web site are pretty much fabrication, but they make good sales copy to scare the unsophisticated user into buying his worthless product.

He tells a good story, but the fact is…

HTML Encryption is a MYTH

Not only is it impossible to encrypt HTML, the pseudo methiods used will hide your site from the search engines and their spiders. So, you not only do NOT protect your site, you actually reduce your visibility on the web.

Here's an example of how it DOESN'T work

Here is a portion of his encoded web page (slightly modified so it will wrap properly on this page:

<Script Language='Javascript'>
<!–
document.write(unescape('%3C%68%74%6D%6C%3E%0D%0A
%3C%68%65%61%64%3E%0D%0A
%3C%74%69%74%6C%65%3E%4E%65%74%41%63%74%69%76%61%74%65%64%27%73%20 %27%53%54%4F%50%20 %43%6F%70%79%20 %54%68%65%66%74%20 %4E%4F%57%21%27%20 %50%75%72%65%20 %50%72%6F%66%69%74%20 %53%6F%6C%75%74%69%6F%6E%20 %2D%20 %41%63%74%69%76%61%74%65%20 %79%6F%75%72%20 %4E%65%74%20 %50%72%6F%66%69%74%20 %50%6F%74%65%6E%74%69%61%6C%21%3C%2F%74%69%74%6C%65%3E%0D%0A
%3C%6D%65%74%61%20 %6E%61%6D%65%3D%22%64%65%73%63%72%69%70%74%69%6F%6E%22%20 %63%6F%6E%74%65%6E%74 %3D %22%48%65%61%6C%74%68%2E%4E%65%74%41%63%74%69%76%61%74%65%64%2E%43%6F%6D%20 %2D%20 %53%61%66%65%6C%79%20 %61%6E%64%20 %45%66%66%65%63%74%69%76%65%6C%79%20 %4E%65%74%41%63%74%69%76%61%74%65%20 %59%6F%75%72%20 %47%6F%6F%64%20 %48%65%61%6C%74%68%22%3E%

Looks pretty impressive, huh?

Here is the unexcrypted version of this portion of his page. I decrypted this using a free website that does this automatically. Interestingly enough, when I submitted Stuart's page, it decoded it from a cached version meaning that someone else had already decrypted this page.

<Script Language='Javascript'>
<!–
document.write(unescape('<html>
<head>
<title>NetActivated's 'STOP Copy Theft NOW!' Pure Profit Solution - Activate your Net Profit Potential!</title>
<meta name="description" content="Health.NetActivated.Com - Safely and Effectively NetActivate Your Good Health">

Not so impressive now, just plain old ordinary html.

Sorry, Stuart, your method is NOT secure.

This decryption process was totally free and took me a matter of seconds. If I were of a mind to, I could now change the payment links on his page to my own, and effectively steal his product.

I'm not going to do that, and I'm not going to tell you where to find the page to decrypt his site either.

I do agree with Stuart on one thing

Ethical marketers don't steal from other marketers, and if you are an unethical marketer, you are the scum of the earth.

However, I don't think that trading on the fears of the uneducated and uninformed is ethical marketing.

So Stuart, I am calling on you to do the ethical thing.

Stuart, stop selling this program.

You are doing your readers a disservice by selling something that not only doesn't work, but is detrimental to their sites.

If you would like to read more about HTML encryption, check out http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum21/8744.htm

Save your money. There are other ways to protect your downloadable products. However, if the thief wants it, he'll find a way to steal it.

Thanks for reading.
